Today is Evan's 2 week birthday. For those of you who do not already know, he was born May 16th at 6:44 am. 7 lbs 0 oz and 20 3/4 inches long.
The last 2 weeks have been pretty uneventful. His first doctor visit was May 19th. He passed everything with flying colors (no jaundice even) except for his weight. Upon being discharged from the hospital he weighed 6 lbs 10 oz, but 3 days later he weighed 6 lbs 5 oz. We have been working on fattening him up a bit, which entailed supplementing with some formula. Now that he seems to be doing a bit better with the breast feeding, he is taking less and less formula, which makes me happy.
He certainly prefers to sleep during the day more than at night, which means a tired mommy and daddy. But, seems our bodies are learning to function on less sleep than we were previosly enjoying.
I will post some new pictures soon and hope to keep this up on a regular basis.

great to read your blog - i know evan must be a full-time job but more updates please -fab idea for us long distancers! he looks even [or evan!] cuter than day 1.....glad the feeding's going well - he'll be like cousin Ben and trpling his birth weight at 6mths old.
